Shoppers can now manage all stored payment related information by having the option to remove credit card information from myAccount. Until recently, we were offering them the option of adding / updating card information - we are now offering a complete payment management suite.

Avangate stores customer information & enables vendors to implement complex shopping cart experiences if purchased was made using a Credit Card (e.g. Single Sign-on in cart or Thank you page cross selling), streamlining the entire checkout experience.

Extended the support for local Brazilian cards with American ExpressElo and Hipercard on top of Visa and MasterCard. By adding these new cards Avangate opens up at least 15% more market-share in Brazil. Elo, HiperCard and American Express are enabled by default for all Avangate accounts currently using local Brazilian Visa and MasterCard active. Shoppers can purchase in up to 6 installments for all new cards added (similar to Visa/MasterCard) and use recurring billing only for purchases made without installments. All local Brazilian cards support transactions in BRL (Brazilian Real).

Take advantage of American Express Account Refresher to ensure recurring billing continuity for active subscriptions for which customers used their AMEX card. You can now define custom terms and conditions for your affiliates in the Control Panel. Adding Terms and Conditions is made through a WYSIWYG type editor, designed to simplify content creation and highlighting.

Use this feature to inform affiliates about eligibility, general rules and marketing restrictions that may be in place due to own policy. Control trademarks, copyrights - like usage of branded keywords by affiliates or clarify rules against spam / product placements, etc.
